Chris Price is a renowned expert in Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing in the Government and Public Sector. In his role as Head of Government and Public Sector Practice, he helps public sector clients evaluate and implement outsourcing and insourcing services including shared services, joint venture or solutions that focus on blended sourcing models in Finance & Accounting, IT, CRM and HR. Chris is currently leading a team working within the central government in the UK, assisting a number of Departments and the wider public sector to implement shared services and BPO as part of their drive to deliver the targets set by the high-profile Gershon Review. This report has identified that the UK government could save over £20 billion each year through greater efficiency through changes such as the implementation of Shared Services.
Prior to joining Alsbridge as a Partner, Chris held a number of senior positions within the Shared Services industry. Chris spent eight years with Ernst & Young, where he was the partner responsible for Shared Services consulting across Europe. During this time, he was instrumental in the development of Ernst & Young's BPO practice, where his role was to design and build operations. Chris also worked for Centrica plc for two years as Director of Shared Services, where he built and operated one of the largest shared Finance and Accounting operations in Europe. During his career he has played a key role in Shared Services and BPO deals for Shell, Ericsson, Coca-Cola, Black & Decker and others.
