Chris Potenza is a sixteen year sports marketing veteran, with a career that has included major contributions at the team and league levels of professional sport. During this time he has held various roles including sponsorship sales, public relations, ticketing and marketing. Most recently Potenza led the Minnesota Vikings to a 65% increase in sponsor revenue. While with the Vikings he created innovative corporate marketing programs that drove sales and increased brand awareness for major brands that included Best Buy, HBO Video, General Mills, Ford and Mastercard. Potenza has also created and managed sales and marketing programs for the Green Bay Packers Radio Network, New Jersey Devils, Western Professional Hockey League and the Utah Grizzlies. A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, where he spent four years playing ice hockey, Potenza is an avid runner having completed four marathons including the New York City Marathon in 2004. Potenza is originally from Northport, NY and currently lives in Chanhassen, MN with his wife Carie Ann and children, Grace, Tyler and Owen. |
