Chris Pelikan joined CBS 42 as a Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter in February 2008. A native of the Midwest, Chris wasn’t born in Texas, but he got here as quick as he could. He would eventually leave, but again, got back here as quick as he could. Prior to his time in Central Texas, Chris worked as a sports reporter and anchor at KTVI, the Fox affiliate in St. Louis and Texas Cable News in Dallas. A 2000 graduate of the University Of Missouri School Of Journalism, Chris has also worked in radio as a sports talk show host and as a freelance writer for a sports magazine in St. Louis. His free time is spent much like his non-free time, around sports. Chris loves watching and playing all sorts of sports. That makes Austin, with its great weather and its great enthusiasm for sports, perfect. Chris and his wife Yvette were married in July of 2005. |
