Chris McAuliffe founded Energy Recruiters, Inc. after 34 years in the petroleum industry. He started as a gasoline attendant working for Tenneco Oil Company while going to Louisiana State University. During his 22 years with Tenneco he held positions in Operations, Finance, and Marketing before assuming various senior management positions: Vice President, Executive Vice President, and President in various Tenneco companies. When Tenneco Company dissolved in 1988, Mr. McAuliffe accepted the position of President and CEO of Golden Gallon, Inc., a large regional convenience food store chain in the Southeast. He then went on to Kerr- McGee Refining where he was initially responsible for their branded marketing network of over 1,400 locations. Several years later, he was given the opportunity to develop a National Accounts Program while continuing to work with Kerr-McGee's trading department. Irving Oil, a large Canadian refiner, offered Mr. McAuliffe the opportunity to oversee their U.S. Operations. There, he was responsible for Irving's convenience food stores, dealer operations, restaurants, travel centers, heating oil and propane n etwork, terminal operations and the administrative functions. Two years later, Irving Oil Limited transferred Mr. McAuliffe to Dublin, Ireland to develop a retail-marketing network in Europe. After his assignment in Ireland, he returned to the U.S. and started his own retail and marketing consulting business in Houston, Texas. Throughout his career, Mr. McAuliffe has displayed his ability to recruit and develop talented professionals. Utilizing his skills and extensive experience within the oil industry he began his own executive search company, Energy Recruiters, Inc. |
