Responsible for Ellie Mae's ePASS transaction technology, Chris has extensive experience in information technology infrastructure, multimedia, data networking, mobile applications, and ecommerce and Internet applications. Before joining Ellie Mae, Chris was in the CTO office and headed the Shanghai R&D Center for Universal Scientific Industrial, a billion-dollar global manufacturer of IT products for IBM and other companies. Prior to USI, he founded and served as president and CEO of iDini Corporation, a wireless-computing services provider for enterprises and carriers. Before that, he was chief technologist at NPL, Inc., in San Jose, where he headed the application-specific standard product organization, including the networking, video, and display product groups. Chris has also held technical management positions at HolonTech Corporation, an ecommerce resource-management firm, NEC America, the networking products and software division of the electronics giant, and Lucent Technologies/AT&T Bell Laboratories. Chris holds MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University. |
