Chris spent the first 10 years of his career working in the advertising agency field focused primarily on quick service restaurant advertising and marketing in the Midwest.
His first position in television was as National Sales Manager at WSAZ-TV in Huntington. He went on to become General Sales Manager as well. He spent two years as Director of Marketing for Lee Enterprises (owner of WSAZ) at their corporate office in Davenport, Iowa, working with newspapers and television stations. He was transferred to KMTV-TV (also owned by Lee Eneterprises), the CBS affiliate in Omaha, Neb., as General Manager.
Chris returned to West Virginia to oversee the National Sales for all four WVMH stations as well as overall Sales Management of the group.
Chris now resides in Charleston with his wife, Beth, and three children. He has an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and a graduate degree in Business from Marshall University. |
