Chris LeGrand is Vice President and Deputy Director for the Global Health Sector and also serves as the Acting Director of the Sector's international development business unit, which specializes in the design and implementation of public health and social programs for developing countries.
He has more than 20 years of experience in consulting and professional services, predominately in health and life sciences. LeGrand, who joined SRA in the acquisition of Constella Group, LLC, in August 2007, held previous leadership roles at Constella, including president of the Group's public health sector business, chief operating officer, chief technology officer, and director of the information technology (IT) and data management division.
Prior to joining Constella, LeGrand served in various business and technical leadership roles for BDM International, Inc., a global IT company.
LeGrand is active in the professional health and biomedical research community. In 2002 he was selected by the North Carolina Research Triangle area's Business Leader magazine as one of the top 100 Business Impact Leaders in the Triangle. And in 2007, the Drug Information Association honored him with an Outstanding Service Award.
