As executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), Chris Lafond is responsible for Gartner worldwide finance, pricing, tax, treasury and investor relations teams.
Since joining Gartner in 1995, Lafond has held numerous positions in the finance organization including: senior vice president for worldwide finance operations and CFO for Gartner North America and Latin America; group vice president and controller; vice president and assistant controller; vice president of finance; and director of finance. Earlier in his career, he held finance positions at IBM and JPMorgan Investment Management.
Lafond graduated from the University of Connecticut and received a master's degree in finance and accounting from Columbia Business School. He is a member of the University of Florida MBA Advisory Board. |
