Chris Holland joined CRA from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a director in the Dispute Analysis & Investigations practice. He works on litigation support and dispute analysis assignments, and is primarily concerned with the preparation of expert witness reports for use in court proceedings. His assignments cover loss of profit calculations, contract disputes, and accounting issues, including interpretation of accounting standards, consequential loss, valuations, audit negligence, and personal injury. Mr. Holland has over 20 years of experience in audit, general financial advice, and litigation support. He joined the audit division of Coopers & Lybrand in London in 1985 after qualifying as a chartered accountant. From 1987 to 1993 he worked in the Sydney office as an audit manager. During this period he gained audit experience in a range of different industries and was also involved in major litigation support assignments. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Holland worked in the Forensic Accounting division in the London office. He gained experience there from a variety of litigation support assignments, including valuation disputes, loss of profits, intellectual property and copyright disputes, professional negligence, personal injury, and matrimonial matters. During this time he was seconded to the Serious Fraud office to work on a major fraud investigation. Mr. Holland returned to Sydney in 1997. He has a wide range of experience in all aspects of dispute analysis and litigation support assignments. |
