Chris is a partner in Faegre & Benson's Boulder office where he practices corporate law. He serves in a leadership role in several areas within the firm, including managing our Boulder office, serving on our Colorado international practice development team, and working on the firm's International Business Briefing. Chris' corporate practice has been focused for over 20 years on business transactions including contracts, negotiations, M&A deals and strategic planning for companies. He advises on mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate counseling and pre-litigation dispute resolution. Chris' clients include businesses, owners and investors in manufacturing, technology, medical devices and financial transactions. He devotes a substantial amount of his practice to companies in the outdoor and natural foods industries, for which Boulder is internationally known. Chris often counsels entrepreneurs, executives, board members and shareholders on their roles and responsibilities within their organizations, as well as their individual business goals and objectives. He also counsels shareholders of closely held businesses vis-à-vis other shareholders to avoid and resolve disputes.
Chris has done dozens of private and public merger and acquisition transactions, as well as securities financings for public and privately held businesses.
Chris enjoys German and French, and works with the firm's international offices on cross-border transactions and the promotion of international business development. |
