Chris Harmston has been with Sorenson Genomics since 2001 and brings 15 years experience as a Quality Manager in ISO 9000 compliant or accredited organizations. Chris' previous work includes the development and management of quality systems in the manufacturing, construction, and semiconductor industries. Chris' education focused on the semiconductor industry which includes baccalaureate degrees in Physics and Materials Engineering and a Masters degree in Materials Engineering. With a lifelong passion for rock climbing and mountaineering Chris became the Quality Manager for Black Diamond Equipment in 1992 where the manufacture and testing of climbing equipment became his passion. Chris continues to stay involved in the outdoor industry by volunteering his free time to assist medical researchers understand the physiology of victims buried in snow avalanches
