Mr. Cantarella is a Principal at the global executive search firm of Heidrick and Struggles in their Private Equity Practice. He focuses on placing senior executives for Private Equity backed aerospace & defense, technology, and industrial companies. Previously, he was a key leader in Ernst & Young's Private Equity Practice, working closely with scores of technology and defense-related companies, as well as with the private equity and venture capital funds who backed them. Prior to becoming the CEO of a software company, he was an internal auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he served as a U.S. Naval Officer. Mr. Cantarella serves as a board member for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the NVTC Entrepreneurship Center, and the National Capitol Area Kidney Foundation. He is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Maryland and George Washington University. Mr. Cantarella received a BS in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from George Washington University, and is a graduate of Harvard's High Potentials Leadership Program. |
