Chris oversees the Company's technical direction and development of its award-winning line of computer telephony products. Specifically, he leads the development and direction of TeleVantage, Vertical's software-PBX offering. Mr. Brookins has more than 15 years of experience with small- and mid-sized, high-tech companies, and joined Vertical when it acquired Stylus Innovation in 1996. At Stylus, he was the company's first employee, responsible for inventing and leading the product development of Visual Voice, the leading ActiveX toolkit for building distributed, scalable applications such as touch-tone data retrieval, voice mail, fax back, and Internet Telephony. Mr. Brookins was also a product manager with Easel Corporation in Burlington, Mass., and has held positions at General Electric, Intelligent Electronics, and Datamost Inc. Mr. Brookins received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn. |
