Mr. Boyes is a sound designer and re-recording mixer based out of Skywalker Sound in Marin County. He has worked on many feature films including Minority Report, Lilo and Stitch, Blood Work, Jurassic Park I, II and III and Dinosaur. In addition to feature film work, Chris has done extensive field recording all around the world. Chris has also created special sound EFX for multiple applications like high-end commercials and radio tags for European radio stations. Chris has also designed applications for audio outboard gear such as reverb processing devices. Chris has won numerous industry awards including Academy Awards for Best Sound for Pearl Harbor and Titanic.
His most recent credits are Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Mr. Boyes holds a Bachelors degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University. |
