A partner with Charles River Ventures, Chris Baldwin joined the firm in 1999 with a focus on making investments in the information technology sector, with an emphasis on storage and networking convergence and new computing paradigms. Currently Mr. Baldwin serves as a director of Acopia Networks, Conformative Systems, EqualLogic and Revivio. He was previously a director of Pirus Networks, acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2002 and Nauticus Networks, acquired by Sun in 2004. Mr. Baldwin joined CRV with 15 years of start-up experience in the data communications and telecommunications industries. Prior to CRV, Mr. Baldwin was vice president of marketing for Argon Networks, which was acquired by Siemens (NYSE: SI) in 1999. Before Argon, he spent three years at Cascade Communications where he developed and managed Cascade's $100 million ATM switch business. |
