Christopher E. Axene, CPA, principal, joined Rea & Associates’ Columbus office in 2004. He has 10 years of experience in the industry, including six years with a Big 5 accounting firm. At Rea, Mr. Axene serves as a firm-wide tax technical resource with particular emphasis on researching complex tax issues as well as helping with tax planning and restructuring.Mr. Axene holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and a past member of the Tax Executives Institute. In addition, he is a past president of the board of trustees for the Central Ohio Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where he has also served as treasurer and vice president. He serves as current treasurer for the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity alumni house board. Originally from Upper Arlington, Ohio, Mr. Axene now resides in Westerville, Ohio, with his wife, Lisa, and their son, Nicholas. Golf and aviation are several of his pastimes. |
