Chris Ambrosio is an Executive Director of Wireless within the Wireless Practice at Strategy Analytics. Chris has experience in business strategy planning, business case development, product planning, market assessment, and competitive analysis for device vendors, service providers, semiconductor vendors, and software suppliers. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Chris worked in a Sales & Marketing role at both Nextel Communications and ICG Communications. He also served as a junior partner at a private equity firm investing in next generation convergence technologies. In this role Chris was involved in performing due diligence, market sizing, and feasibility assessments on companies, technology developments and competitive markets in wireless and internet markets. Chris joined Strategy Analytics in 2001 where he is also responsible for setting the global research agenda, publishing and editing syndicated research reports, and developing and managing global customer relationships for the Wireless Device Strategies (WDS) Service. Under his direction the WDS Service has grown to become globally recognized as one of the most reliable and well-known analyst teams covering the mobile device market. Chris is also widely quoted in globally recognized news and press publications including the Wall Street Journal and Barron s, as well as a wide number of trade industry publications. Chris holds a BS/BA degree from John Carroll University and has post-baccalaureate work through Kent State University. He and his wife have four children and currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. |
