Chris Turner brings more than 15 years of technology sales experience to SkyeTek where he drives sales efforts for the leading maker of modular RFID readers. Prior to SkyeTek, Chris was the VP of Worldwide Sales and Support at Intelliden Corporation where in less than three years he oversaw a jump in revenue from $2 million to $17 million. As a member of that company’s management team, Chris helped the company raise more than $22.5 million in venture-backed financing. As the Senior VP of Global Sales at Akamai Technologies, Chris managed a global team of 250 and was responsible for all of Akamai’s revenue streams, leading the company through a transition to enterprise-oriented customers. Also at Akamai, Chris held the positions of VP of Worldwide Channel and International Sales, VP North American Sales, and Director of Alliances and Channel Sales. While at IBM for 10 years in the 1980s and 90s, Chris held several positions including Senior Project Manager and Sales Manager. A Harvard MBA, Chris received dual bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan.
