LodgeWorks Senior Vice President Development Chris Gebert is responsible for site selection, market and economic feasibility analyses and permitting for all projects in the Western half of the U.S. Prior to joining LodgeWorks, Chris operated as the Senior Vice President of Wyndham International’s All-Suite Division. His leadership responsibilities included senior operations vice president of both the Summerfield Suites by Wyndham and Sierra Suites brands and included the development and re-branding of the Summerfield Suites by Wyndham brand. Prior to his leadership position with Wyndham, he was responsible for the operations of Summerfield Hotel Corporation hotels in the southern, western and eastern U.S. regions.Chris joined Summerfield in 1989 as Development Manager and Market Feasibility Analyst. He began his career in sales and marketing with The Residence Inn Company in 1983, and quickly became District Sales and Marketing Director of multiple Residence Inn Hotels, including five properties in Southern California. He has been the recipient of two Residence Inn by Marriott National Gold Awards for sales management and team development. He held multiple hotel management positions for Summerfield Hotel Corporation, including simultaneous General Manager positions at three Los Angeles area hotels. Chris is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also holds a liberal arts degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. |
