Mr. Chris Burr has an extensive background in the fields of commercial lending, corporate banking and private banking. His 23 years of local community banking experience positions him well for his role as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Security Business Bank. He helped establish the bank's Carmel Valley office and currently manages its operations.
Mr. Burr joins Security Business Bank from US Bank/Peninsula Bank of San Diego where he recently served as Vice President to the Private Client Group. While at US Bank he managed the financial portfolios of high net worth and professional corporation clients, analyzing their financial, tax and credit needs. At Peninsula Bank of San Diego he helped establish the Corporate Banking Department and served as the Senior Commercial Lender.
Mr. Burr is an active Carmel Valley community member. He is currently the President of the North Shore Girls Softball League. In addition, he holds membership in the San Dieguito High School District Strategic Planning team, Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Board of Directors, and Torrey Pines High School Foundation Corporate Partners committee. Prior to this, he was a member of the Torrey Pines High School site council. Much of his efforts have been dedicated to the Solana Beach Highlands Elementary School - he was a member of the site council, co-founded the ?Dad?s Club? and was voted as the school?s Volunteer of the Year.
Mr. Burr is a University of California Los Angeles and Pacific Coast Banking School alum where he graduated with honors. |
