Chris B. Heaphy is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of The Taubman Company.
His expertise includes transaction-oriented real estate and general corporate law.
Prior to joining Taubman in June 2005, Mr. Heaphy was a partner in the real estate departments of law firms Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, and Miro Weiner & Kramer, where he worked for 18 years.
Mr. Heaphy holds a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University’s College of Business and received his law degree from Wayne State University, where he graduated cum laude and was named to the Order of the Coif law school honor society.
He is on the board of directors for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. |
