Chris Cohen has been in the search industry since 1997 and has built a strong reputation for serving clients in the non-profit, consumer product, technology, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Within these industries, she has worked on all disciplines and has helped many organizations achieve optimal performance by helping them recruit top talent. She is well known for her strong abilities in assessment of skills, her willingness to devote endless hours of work to complete searches to her client’s satisfaction, and her history of creating strong relationships with her clients and her candidates. Prior to her career in search, she had a successful career in distribution channel management. In 1991, Chris joined LEARN INC., an educational publisher of information technology training materials, where she held various sales positions in distribution channel management. LEARN PC was eventually acquired by Gartner Group, Inc., the world’s leading provider of information technology research and information. At Gartner Group, Chris continued to grow the company’s consumer products division through expanded distribution, software developer relationships for co-marketing/ branding programs, and management of key accounts. As an active member of her community Chris has been involved in local politics, served on the Board of Working Opportunities for Women, is President of Grays Landing Neighborhood Association, and is an active parent volunteer at the Blake School. Chris earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Sales and Marketing. She received her BA in International Relations from the University of Minnesota, supplemented with studies at the University of Erlangen, Germany and Salzburg, Austria. |
