Chip Callahan brings a richly diverse background in medically complex care and eldercare to SeniorBridge. Formerly President of Cornerstone Rehabilitation, providing restorative and therapeutic services to community and long-term care facility residents with acquired neurologic, neurophysiologic, and mental health conditions, he also served as Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Health and Human Services Corporation, a residential and clinical outpatient rehabilitation service provider. He was Director of the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services and other divisions of a North Carolina community mental health agency and a business development consultant to SeniorHealth, Inc, a national provider of inpatient and outpatient rehab and pain management programs targeting adults and the elderly. Earlier in his career, Chip was a geriatric social worker at the Caswell Center. He earned a bachelor of social work degree at Ferrum College in Virginia, a master of public administration degree in community health and personnel administration from East Carolina University in Greenville and also completed the Human Services Executive Management Program, Institute of Government, at UNC at Chapel Hill. |
