Chinh E. Chu is a Senior Managing Director in the Corporate Private Equity group and is based in New York. Since joining Blackstone in 1990, Mr. Chu has led Blackstone’s investments in Celanese, Nalco, SunGard, Nycomed, and LIFFE. He has also been involved in Blackstone’s investments in FGIC, Graham Packaging, Sirius Satellite Radio, StorageApps, Haynes International, Prime Succession/Rose Hills, Interstate Hotels, HFS, and Alco Holdings. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Chu worked at Salomon Brothers in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Mr. Chu received a BS in Finance from the University of Buffalo, where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Chu serves as a Director of Celanese, Nalco, SunGard, Graham Packaging, and FGIC. |
