Dr. Chang was the Manager of China Programs, Turbo Power & Marine System Division, United Technologies Corporation, from 1993 to 1999. He introduced the aero-derivative gas-turbines as electric power generators to China. He was instrumental in the sales and installation of over 200 MW of gas-turbine generators in four different locations in China.
Prior to that, Dr. Chang was a Supervisor, Gas Turbine Engineering, where he designed and developed gas-turbines for United Technologies from 1987 to 1993.
He received his B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, and his Ph.D. Degree in theoretical and applied mechanics from Cornell University, USA. |
