Chet primary focus is intellectual property law. He assists in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign utility and design patent applications for publicly and privately-held businesses, institutional clients and individuals. He works closely with clients to prepare and prosecute trademark applications and, in matters of licensing, trade secrets, patent infringement and validity concerns. Chet is a member of the American and Ohio Bar Associations as well as the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association. Chet graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, summa cum laude, in 2002. He received a masters degree in business administration from Cleveland State University in 1998, summa cum laude, and his electrical engineering degree from Ohio University in 1989. Chet was employed with Orbital Engineering from 1989-1999 before joining Calfee in 2002. |
