J. Chester Porter is Chairman of the Board and general counsel of Porter Bancorp Inc. PBI Bank's holding company. He is also affiliated with and a major owner of two additional Kentucky banks. Over the last 20 years he has specialized in corporate and bank acquisitions business and bank management and real estate development.
He presently serves on the University of Louisville Board of Trustees is a former chairman of the Board and serves on Campbellsville University's Board of Trustees. He also serves as an Officer Director and General Counsel for numerous corporations.
The owner of Porter & Associates law firm Mr. Porter has practiced law for more than 30 years. He earned the Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Campbellsville University which named him Outstanding Alumnus in 1985. |
