Chesley Quaide is a partner in the Pleasanton office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. He focuses on labor law, employment law and education law, FLSA law, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and drug and alcohol use in the work place. Mr. Quaide has served as General Counsel of the Merced County Office of Education since 1991, and has also served as General Counsel of the Stanislaus County Office of Education since 1996. Before joining the firm in 1990, Mr. Quaide represented unions and individuals in state and federal court proceedings and law and motion hearings, before civil service and police commissions, in Skelly hearings, internal investigations, unemployment insurance appeals boards and in all aspects of employee grievance procedures while working as an associate for a San Francisco union labor law firm. Mr. Quaide has conducted numerous workshops and lectures on a variety of education issues. He is a member of the State Bar of California. |
