Cheryl Schmura is vice president, chief financial officer, a position she has held since December, 2006. She is responsible for the company's overall cash management, financial reporting and banking relationships. She also directs the formulation of accounting procedures and policies, and in developing a strategic direction that ensures the company is well positioned to capitalize on changing market dynamics and maximizes long-term shareholder value.
Prior to joining Agriliance as vice president, controller in May, 2006, Schmura was finance director for 3M's Industrial and Transportation business, the company's largest business division with global sales of over $6 billion dollars. She also spent 25 years in various 3M positions including internal auditing, acquisitions, business finance and an assignment as the head of 3M Canada's financial and information technology operations.
Schmura is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). A native of the Twin Cities, she earned a bachelor's degree in business and accounting and a master' of business administration degree in finance and marketing from the University of Minnesota. |
