Cheryl Clary joined Southwest Water Company as vice president of finance in October 2004 and was promoted to chief financial officer in April 2005. She is responsible for overall financial management, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, financial plans and policies, as well as relationships with financial institutions, investors and shareholders.
Ms. Clary began her career in 1981 with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) as senior consultant. Over the next 19 years she assumed progressively responsible positions ranging from supervisor of consolidations and reporting to business manager and retail franchise manager. In 2000, Ms. Clary joined Jefferson Wells International as managing director and two years later became chief financial officer at Del Richardson and Associates.
A certified public accountant, Ms. Clary has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University in Northridge and holds an Executive Certificate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
