Cheryl A. Brown is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Houston office where she is a member of the Associate Practice Group.
Prior to joining MLA, Cheryl worked as an attorney recruiter with a national executive search firm. She began her legal career as a corporate associate with the Atlanta law firm of Andre & Blaustein. Cheryl later joined Bashen Corporation and Global Holistic Compliance where she served as VP of Operations. She assisted Fortune 500 companies in creating an effective platform to build solutions to labor and employment issues. Her clients included Goodyear, Sodexho, General Motors, Verizon Communications, Compaq Computers (now Hewlett-Packard), Schlumberger and GlaxoSmithKline. During her career as a consultant, Cheryl was instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge, EEO claims management software. She received her J.D. from John Marshall Law School and her B.S. in mass communications from Towson University.
Cheryl was born in Maryland and now lives in Houston, Texas. She is a wine enthusiast, enjoys private aviation and has a fondness for culinary arts. Cheryl is devoted to assisting non-profit organizations with efforts to support women’s empowerment, leadership, and economic independence worldwide. |
