After graduating from Beijing Foreign Languages Institute in 1982, Chen Ling began her career as a journalist at Xinhua News Agency covering a wide range of economic, political and industrial issues. In 1988, she became the first Chinese woman to win a Reuter Fellowship at Oxford University in England. For the next six years, she studied international politics and economics at Oxford University and received her Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. After returning to China, Chen Ling became deputy general manager of a Sino-U.K. information technology joint venture. She then joined Mercuri International, one of the world’s largest consulting and training companies headquartered in Sweden. As a business consultant, Chen Ling helped a variety of multinational corporations operating in China identify business needs and deliver management, sales and service development programs. Founding Creative Learning Consulting Ltd. in 1999, Chen Lin has applied her knowledge and broad experience to helping over 100 clients solve problems and transform creative concepts into practical solutions that serve business needs.
