Prof. Chen is the company's Chief Scientist. KIWA's proprietary products are based on the research work on pho_ tosynthetic bacteria as conducted by Prof. Chen over the course of 20+ years. His work in that field helped propel China's research on practical applications of photosynthetic bacteria to that of an international level. Prof. Chen received numerous awards and honors from a score of institutions ranging from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee. He is a graduate of Nanjing Agricultural University, a premier agricultural university in China. A highly respected expert in the field of biology, Prof. Chen is a senior member of the China Association of Agricultural Science Societies and a director of the Shanghai Society of Animal Husbandry. He is also a director of the China Biogas Association and a member of the Agricultural Research Senior Post Review Board of Shanghai Agricultural Committee. |
