As Senior Director of Advanced Network Systems, Charlie is responsible for the Mobiquiti™ product line and related areas. These include ad-hoc networking, location management solutions, embedded streaming video solutions, scalable broadband peer-to-peer radios, and embedded hardware platforms. With more than twenty years of experience in the specification, design, and development of real-time embedded data communications systems, Charlie brings a deep knowledge in creating scalable networking systems from the physical layer through the application layer.
Charlie joined Innovative Concepts in 2004 as a systems engineer and worked on various low-data-rate military communications programs, specifically the IDM program, and quickly became the lead systems engineer for these programs. In parallel, Charlie took over responsibility for a small R&D program related to military ad-hoc networks, leveraging his past experience at Telcordia in their Applied Research Division. Charlie leveraged the output of this R&D program to create the basis for a new product line, Mobiquiti, and was promoted to Senior Director to lead this activity.
Charlie and his team have applied Mobiquiti technology to provide networking for Navy sea-based sensor platforms, networking solutions for DHS first-responder solutions to track personnel within buildings, and to network EOD robots to support range-extension and cooperative robotic behaviors.
Charlie received his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. |
