Mr. Smither manages RealEnergy’s Acquisitions & Development department, which concentrates on renewable asset and distressed opportunities for RealEnergy, LLC. His focus will be in development of RealEnergy’s asset acquisition and structuring financial debt for the benefit of the RealEnergy’s CleanTech fund. Mr. Smither has over 20 years of investment banking experience, which includes originating, structuring, and trading of debt instruments. He was responsible for the structure and funding of over 45 distributed generation systems as well as several dozen performance contracting projects in the commercial, industrial, municipal, and federal markets. Mr. Smither’s experience within the fixed income debt markets allowed him to create and sell fungible and bankable documents which are still used today. |
