Charlie McMahan is a seasoned veteran in the banking industry bringing more than 28 years of experience to his role as executive vice president and senior credit officer.
During his career he has served in a variety of roles with First American/AmSouth Bank including president and chief executive officer of the company's asset-based lending subsidiary First American Commercial Finance Inc. He has spent his entire career in commercial lending with over half of that time as senior credit officer for First American where he had oversight responsibilities for more than $10 billion in loan assets including commercial real estate and the full range of consumer loans from credit cards to private banking
McMahan holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Lipscomb University and a master's in business administration from the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA)
