As Vice President of Sales, Charlie Frankel is responsible for defining the strategies and driving the sales performance for the Omni portfolio. In addition, he oversees the company's national account office and business travel sales initiatives. Frankel has worked for more than 24 years in the hotel industry.
Prior to joining Omni Hotels, he worked for Marriott International in multiple hotel and key corporate positions. Most recently he was the Market Director of Sales for Marriott lodging products in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He also was Vice President of Sales for Marriott’s southeast region, where he had oversight responsibilities for Marriott and Renaissance branded hotels.
Frankel is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association, the International Association for Exhibition Management and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. He earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Heidelberg College in Ohio. |
