Charlie Feld is senior executive vice president of Applications Services a critical component of EDS’ growth strategy. He is also responsible for the Office of the CIO the chief technology officer and Global Alliances. Feld is a member of EDS’ Executive Committee.
Feld the architect of EDS’ Agile Enterprise Platform and Multi Year Plan has led the company’s efforts to modernize standardize and automate its infrastructure and service offerings. In his current role Feld is driving EDS’ efforts to enhance its presence and capabilities in applications development and legacy modernization two of the highest growth segments in the IT services market.
Previously Feld was executive vice president of Portfolio Development where he led the development of EDS’ portfolio of service offerings and solutions in Infrastructure Applications and Business Process Outsourcing. He also led the Core Integration and Architecture and the office of the Multi-Year Plan.
Feld founded The Feld Group in 1992. As CEO of the Dallas based firm he built a team of information technologies (IT) executives that enabled dramatic results in Fortune 500 companies through the transformation of their own IT organizations. In addition to building the company Feld led several transformations himself. He also focused on helping multiple Feld Group clients and on building a Leadership Institute leveraging the frameworks and management systems developed through operating experiences extending the company's impact on the overall IT profession.
