Mr. Sutton has over 26 years of management experience in the operation, maintenance, and structural repair of marine engineering equipment. Mr. Sutton attended numerous Continuing Education courses in mechanical and structural disciplines at Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School, before joining Earl Industries in 1991 as a Senior Project Manager and rapidly became a project manager of choice for the more complex availabilities conducted at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. In 1999 Mr Sutton assumed the role of Program Manager for the Large Deck Amphibious Ships. After completing numerous successful projects on these ships Charlie was assigned the lead role in the company’s first multi-ship repair contract on the LHA/LHD class ships that was awarded to Earl Industries in the Spring of 2003. |
