Charlie joined National Capital in early 2005. From 1993 to 2004 he served as an independent industry consultant, concentrating upon aerospace, defense and wireless communications. From 1995 through 2004, he also served as an Advisor to SpaceVest, a private equity firm.
Charlie was previously Vice President for Space Programs of Loral Corporation. Prior to its acquisition by Loral, he served as Group Vice President for Space Missions for Ford Aerospace Corporation and concurrently served as Vice President, Corporate Business Development.
Earlier in his career, Charlie was with BDM Corporation, where, after its acquisition by Ford Aerospace, he was appointed Executive Vice President for Operations. Prior to this assignment, Charlie served as Senior Vice President for Advanced Studies and Market Development with BDM.
He is currently a consultant to DARPA, and a former member of the National Science Foundation’s Engineering Advisory Board.
Charlie holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Notre Dame University and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. |
