I was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota in the winter of 1970. I was raised in Walhalla, North Dakota where I graduated high school. I attended the University of North Dakota from 1988 to 1992 before starting my career in ethanol. I started my ethanol career with Archer Daniels Midland, starting in the grains area and working up to a shift operator. In 1995 I moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota and went to work for Heartland Grain Fuels. While at Heartland I was able to lead startup teams at Broin, Katzen, & Gaylor ethanol plants as part of a management contract with Heartland. I joined the team at Redfield Energy in October of 2006 and am eagerly looking forward to startup of the ICM/Fagen design. I met my wife, Christy, shortly after moving to Aberdeen. We have three cats and the requisite hunting dog. My wife and I share many hobbies including restoration of Jeep Willy's vehicles, riding motorcycles, both on and off road. I also enjoy hunting and shooting sports. |
