Charles Simmons president of Spirent’s Wireless & Positioning division leads the effort to capture market share in wireless markets.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He served as Vice President of engineering and manufacturing at Telecom Analysis Systems (TAS) which he co-founded in 1984. Prior to 1984 he was a Member of Technical Staff and later a Group Supervisor at AT&T Bell Labs.
He holds bachelor’s degrees in Physics from Morehouse College and electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
