Charles Scoville serves as our Managing Vice President of Leasing. Mr. Scoville is responsible for the direction and management of the company’s leasing activities which includes approximately 2.4 million square feet of neighborhood community and lifestyle shopping centers.
Mr. Scoville has more than 27 years experience in the shopping center industry. Prior to joining AmREIT he was Vice President Southwest Region Leasing with New Plan Excel Realty Trust Inc. a national retail REIT with 465 centers in 38 states. At New Plan he was responsible for leasing a 12.5 million square foot shopping center portfolio comprised of more than 100 neighborhood community and regional shopping centers located throughout the Southwest. Under Mr. Scoville’s leadership the Southwest region was awarded the Leasing Region of the Year for highest leasing production in the company.
Mr. Scoville holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in real estate from Southern Methodist University. He has a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license and is a certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM). Mr. Scoville is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
