Dr. Charles Kinder is the founder and Director of the Heart Rhythm Program for Heart Care Centers of Illinois. He has a very distinguished academic background including training at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Loyola University Medical Center, and the University of Chicago where he also served as a faculty member. He remains very involved with teaching as he currently serves as a faculty member for the Heart Rhythm Society’s official and mandatory device implantation course. Dr. Kinder also has had an extensive career in private practice. He founded the Heart Rhythm Program for Heart Care Centers of Illinois, a 28-member single specialty cardiology group in the very competitive Chicago Metro market. Dr. Kinder has been directly involved in building successful EP programs at St. Francis Blue Island Hospital, Vanguard’s MacNeal Hospital, and has just recently partnered with Corazon to build a new EP program at Morris Community Hospital. Prior to his time with HCCI he helped to build successful EP programs at several hospitals in San Antonio. |
