Mr. Granville has over 30 years of experience focused on transforming businesses through the use of technology solutions to improve companies’ communications, information, and revenue generating transactions. Mr. Granville is the owner and CEO of Capita Technologies, a software technology company focused on Interactive Marketing, and Enterprise Government and Business Solutions. Capita was purchased by Interpublic Group (IPG, one of the world’s largest marketing companies) in 1999. Mr. Granville reacquired Capita as of 1/1/06. Clients includes: Kraft, Masterfood, Kellogg, Warner Brothers, Coke, Motorola, General Mills, Fox Broadcasting, Los Angeles County, and the U.S. Navy. Mr. Granville began his career designing, developing, and managing automated banking and manufacturing enterprise applications. He worked for Technology Management Inc. (TMI), a MIT and Citibank venture. His technical career grew from a programmer position to a project manager and finally to CIO. Mr. Granville helped automate the Federal Reserve Monetary System (The money supply for the United States), and Portfolio Management, and Electronic Funds Transfer Systems. Mr. Granville has founded, purchased, or performed turnarounds for numerous software companies (CimTelligence Corporation (clients: DOE, DOD, Boeing, TRW, General Dynamics), eTrak, and Sagence Systems), as well as held management responsibilities in large enterprises such as SVP Worldwide Marketing at Xerox, and Sales & Marketing executive positions with Burroughs, and Computervision. He holds an MBA (magna cum laude) and a BSBA from Babson College (majors in Marketing and Economics). He serves on the Board of Counselors at Chapman’s Argyros School of Business and Economics. Mr. Granville has served on the Board of Directors or an officer of eTrak Corporation, CimTelligence Corporation, and the Southern California Software Council. |
