Mr. Fromm has served as the General Counsel of ESI since 2004 during which time the company has acquired or developed a majority of its operations. Mr. Fromm is a former partner of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He started his practice in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis in 1986, and in 1990 co-founded the Manhattan office for the firm. During his time at Kirkland & Ellis Mr. Fromm represented corporations, private equity firms and other entities from a variety of industries in transactions including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, public and private debt and equity offerings and bank financings. In 1997, Mr. Fromm was recruited to join Cable Design Technologies (CDT), a NYSE listed manufacturer of high-speed electronic cables and products for the specialty electronics and data networking markets. He served as Vice President and General Counsel of CDT until its merger with Belden, Inc. in 2004. Mr. Fromm has a both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan. |
