A sample of his varied professional experiences is as follows: Providing audit services to clients in the following industries: introducing broker/dealers regulated by the Security and Exchange Commission, software development companies, resellers, trade associations, retirement plans, a national recognized multi-office law firm and a human organ procurement organization Providing consulting, accounting and tax services to clients in the following industries: funeral homes, bowling centers, government contractors, construction companies, religious organizations and a water and sewer authority Providing tax, transition and estate planning to individuals, Serving as the accounting and auditing quality review and assurance partner for thirteen years for his former firm, which included four successful peer reviews, Serving as member and a team captain of peer review teams, Other Activities: Business Finance Group, formerly Virginia Asset Financing Corporation (non-profit organization that assists established companies in obtaining financing under the Small Business Administration''''''''''''''''s 504 Program) - Originally appointed by the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Charlie has served on the Board for over 15 years. As a past Chairman and Treasurer, he has seen the Organization grow from annual bond approvals of $6,000,000 per year to over $110,000,000 per year. Currently, Charlie serves on the compensation and audit committee.Living Savior Lutheran Church - Initially, Charlie served as a preschool board member. Subsequently, he acted as the controller for the Church and was appointed to the board as Finance Minister.Volunteer orderly - Upon graduation from college, Charlie served as a full-time volunteer emergency room orderly for 9 months.Leadership Fairfax - Charlie was in the first graduating class of "Leadership Fairfax" in 1988.For the last three years, Charlie has been listed by Virginia Business magazine as a "Super CPA" in the small business consulting category.
