Charlie Cousland is a shareholder in the firm's Waukesha office, and is a member of the firm's Real Estate, Corporate and Health Care practice groups. Charlie's practice focuses on the representation of real estate and business clients in the acquisition and development of real estate for residential, commercial, health care and retail activities, including the leasing and financing activities that surround such developments, the structuring of construction contracts, the selection and creation of appropriate business entities, and the capitalization of such business entities. In addition, Charlie has extensive experience working with physician groups to resolve business, health care and operational issues. Charlie received his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Marquette University. He is active in numerous civic and charitable activities and is a co-author of A Guide for Wisconsin Nonprofit Organizations.
