Mr. Beatty co-founded Audex® in 1974. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into one of the most innovative and respected providers of infrared, magnetic induction listening devices and telephones for hearing impaired people in the United States. He has also been responsible for development of Audex®’s production, accounting, sales and marketing programs. Mr. Beatty holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MA in Audiology from the University of Texas at El Paso. He holds a license in audiology from the state of Texas, with over thirty years experience in fitting and dispense hearing aids and rehabilitation for people with hearing loss. Mr. Beatty is personally hearing impaired and an extensive user of assistive listening devices. |
