Charles Dowling is a partner in the Firm's Estates and Personal Group. He represents wealthy individuals and families in many aspects of their personal and business affairs, including sophisticated tax and estate planning, the structuring of private business and investment vehicles, trust and estate administration, charitable planning, and a broad range of personal legal matters. Mr. Dowling serves as an advisor to or trustee of many large family trusts, charitable foundations and family offices. Mr. Dowling is a contributing author of the treatise International Estate Planning, published by Matthew Bender (2d ed. 1999). He has served on the Committee on Trusts, Estates and Surrogate's Courts of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He is Co-Chair of the New York Presbyterian Hospital Planned Giving Advisory Committee, and the Treasurer of the William Nelson Cromwell Foundation. |
